Type Classification of Ringlock Scaffolding

The models of ringlock scaffolding are mainly divided into two types: A type and B type according to the safety technical regulations for socket type ringlock steel pipe brackets JGJ231-2010 for construction.

Type A: It is the 60 series that is often said in the market, that is to say, the standard diameter is 60mm, which is mainly used for heavy support, such as bridge engineering.

Type B: It is the 48 series, the standard diameter is 48mm, which is mainly used in the fields of house construction and decoration.

In addition, according to the connection mode of the ringlock scaffolding standard, it is divided into two forms: outer sleeve connection and inner  ringlock connection. At present, the 60 series ringlock scaffolding on the market generally adopts internal connection, that is, the joint pin is connected inside the standard,The 48 series  ringlock scaffolding are generally connected by outer sleeves, and some are connected by inner joint pin especially in the fields of stage racks and lighting racks.

The main members of the ringlock scaffolding are: standard, ledger,diagonal brace, and adjustable jack.

*Th standard of ringlock scaffolding: the distance between the rosette is 500mm, so the specification modulus of the standard is 500mm, the specific common specifications are 500mm, 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000mm, 2500mm, 3000mm, and the base is 200mm.

*The ledger of the ringlock scaffolding: the model specification modulus is 300mm. Namely 300mm, 600mm, 900mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, 1800mm, 2400mm,

3000mm.

Note: The nominal length of a ledger is the distance between the axis of the standard so the actual length is shorter than the nominal length by the diameter of the standard. According to the nature of the project,1.5m ledger is usually be used in formwork support scaffolding, 1.2m and 1.8m, etc., used in conjunction. For the operating frame, the length of the ledger is generally 1.8m, and 1.5m, 2.4m, etc. are used in conjunction.

Specification of diagonal brace  of  ringlock scaffolding

It is divided according to the length of the horizontal rod and the step distance (the distance between the upper and lower ledger ). In engineering practice, the step distance of the ledger of the general formwork support frame is 1.5m. Therefore, the specifications of the vertical diagonal brace supported by the formwork are generally It is 1.5m in height.

*For example, the vertical diagonal brace used on the 900mm ledger is 900mmX1500mm, and the diagonal brace used on the 1200mm ledger is 1200mmX1500mm. And so on...

*If it is an operating frame or a light frame, etc., in a project with a particularly low bearing capacity, the step distance can be 2m. The corresponding vertical diagonal brace adopts a height of 2m.

*For example, the vertical diagonal braceused on the 900mm ledger is 900mmX2000mm, and the vertical diagonal brace used on the 1200mm ledger 1200mmX2000mm. And so on...

*In actual engineering practice, the vertical diagonal brace with a large amount of formwork support frame is 1500mmX1500mm, and the vertical diagonal brace with a large amount in ordinary scaffolding projects is 1800mmX1500mm or 1800mmX2000mm.
